Hi, I’m Alicia!

As a LPC [Counseling] Intern with a background in forensic psychology and family law, I am dedicated to supporting children, families, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, co-parenting, divorce, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

  • My approach is creating a safe, nurturing space where children feel seen, understood, and empowered — and where adults can explore their experiences, build emotional resilience, and foster healthier relationships.

For children, I integrate play therapy to help them express emotions, process difficult experiences, and develop coping skills. I believe every child deserves a voice, especially when struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges, family changes, or the impact of trauma. My goal is to create a space where they feel safe to explore their feelings, build confidence, and begin healing.
When working with families, I understand the complexities of co-parenting dynamics, relationship stressors, and the lasting effects of traumatic experiences. For adults, whether facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or relationship struggles, I offer a compassionate, collaborative approach to uncover patterns, process emotions, and promote lasting change. I strive to be a reflective guide — helping clients recognize their strengths, explore their inner world, and reclaim a sense of self and direction.
I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I believe lasting change begins with understanding and empowerment. If you are seeking a compassionate, dedicated counselor, I am here to offer support, tools, and hope as we work toward healing from trauma, building resilience, and creating more fulfilling connections with ourselves and others.
