Hi, I’m William!

My passion includes helping with issues related to LGBTQ+, marital and premarital, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief, abuse and depression in all age groups.

  • My therapeutic approach is primarily humanistic and person-centered, meaning I view therapy as a collaborative process focused on understanding the client as a whole person rather than simply treating symptoms. I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can develop greater self-awareness, emotional insight, authenticity, and self-compassion. I believe many coping patterns develop as adaptations to life experiences, and therapy can help clients better understand those patterns while building healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

My work is also informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), existential therapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) when appropriate, particularly in trauma-focused work. I focus on helping clients improve emotional regulation, communication, psychological flexibility, and alignment with their personal values. Rather than taking a prescriptive approach, I see my role as supporting, guiding, and appropriately challenging clients in order to help create the conditions for meaningful growth, healing, and long-term change.
