Hi, I’m D.K.!
I work with adults, adolescents, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
-
I have been in behavioral health since 2013, and I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and compassion.
-
My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, while always centering the unique story and strengths each person brings. I believe therapy should be a collaborative, empowering process—one where you feel heard, supported, and equipped with tools to move forward.
I am especially passionate about creating a safe, affirming space for individuals from all walks of life, including those navigating social anxiety, neurodiversity, and LGBTQ+ experiences. My work is guided by the belief that healing happens in connection, and that everyone deserves a place to feel seen and understood.
In addition to my clinical work, I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly engage in training related to trauma recovery, attachment theory, and integrative approaches to mental wellness. Whether you’re seeking therapy for the first time or returning to it, my goal is to meet you with empathy, curiosity, and respect.
